About

The short version.

I'm Cody. I help pro services offices in Phoenix fix the chaos at the front desk. Phones, internet, call flow, the things that should disappear into the background and don't.

I work for you, not the phone companies. The clarity call is free. The advice is honest. If your setup is solid, I'll tell you that and we'll be done in twenty minutes.

Cody Fitzgerald, vendor-neutral telecom advisor, Phoenix

Why I do this

I've spent the last fourteen years in tech and telecom.

Big companies. Big rooms. Big deals. Long enough to know what most professional offices are actually running on.

Here's what I kept noticing.

Most pro services offices are stuck on outdated, overpriced communication systems. Not because they don't care. Because nobody's taken the time to look at what they actually need and match it to what's actually out there.

The vendors won't do it. They only sell what they sell. The IT guy is fighting bigger fires. The office manager is keeping the whole place running and doesn't have time to research phone systems on the side. So the phones keep dropping calls. The internet keeps lagging at 2pm. The front desk keeps apologizing.

Everyone adapts. Nothing changes.

That's the gap I fill.

How it works

I sit between your office and the market.

I have access to over 200 telecom and internet carriers through my partner network. My job is simple: look at what you have, find where it's breaking, recommend what actually fits.

1. The Clarity Map (free, 30 minutes)

We talk through your current setup. Phones, internet, call routing, front desk flow. I ask questions. You answer honestly. By the end we both have an honest map of where things stand.

2. The honest read

If something's worth changing, I show you your real options. Real pricing, real comparisons, real tradeoffs. No jargon. No bait and switch.

3. The switch (only if you want one)

If you decide to move, I manage the transition. Number porting, hardware setup, training, go-live. You don't have to figure any of it out alone.

If your setup is already working, I'll tell you that. End of meeting.

How I get paid

If you decide to switch to a new system, the carrier you choose pays me a commission. You never pay me directly. My commission doesn't change your pricing.

This only works because I have to recommend the right fit. If I push the wrong product, you leave, and I lose everything. Reputation, residuals, the trust I've spent years building. So I'm wired to be honest with you, even when honest means "stay where you are."

The clarity call is always free. No commitment. No strings.

Who I work with

Pro services offices with five or more phone-heavy humans.

  • Law firms. Missed calls, compliance recording, attorneys unreachable outside the office.
  • Insurance agencies. CMS call recording, multi-location call flow.
  • Accounting and CPA firms. Seasonal volume spikes, outdated PBX systems.
  • Medical and dental practices. HIPAA-compliant phones, reliable internet.
  • Real estate brokerages. Distributed teams, mobile workers.
  • Service businesses. Anyone with a front desk and clients who call before they show up.

Phoenix-rooted, U.S.-wide. Some clients I meet for coffee. Most I serve over video. The work travels.

If your office has phones that frustrate your team and an internet connection that holds you back, we should probably talk.

What I believe

Technology should make your office quieter, not louder.

The right system disappears into the background. It just works.

Nobody should dread the phone ringing. Nobody should apologize to a client because the call dropped again. Nobody should lose business to a voicemail box that nobody checks.

That's the bar. Simple, reliable, clear.

For the curious

The longer version.

For fourteen years I sat on the carrier side of the table. Carriers, channel partners, sales floors, customer success seats. I sat on the side of the table that's paid to push one product. I watched good offices end up on the wrong system because nobody asked the right questions first.

That's why I left.

Vendor-neutral wasn't a marketing decision. It was a personal one. I wanted to be the person sitting next to the office manager, not across from her. I wanted to look at what was actually breaking and recommend the thing that fits, even when the answer is "you're already fine, don't change anything."

I'm Phoenix-based. The work travels. I serve clients across the country through video and a warm referral network, and the Phoenix offices that started this thing still make up a good portion of it. Trust is the only thing that makes this kind of advisory work, and Phoenix is where most of mine got built.

A few honest facts

  • Fourteen years in tech and telecom before founding Curiosidy Consulting
  • Worked inside major carriers and channel organizations, including time at Nextiva. SMB through enterprise accounts
  • Vendor-neutral by choice. Left the direct-sales side of the industry to advise from the client's seat
  • Access to 200+ suppliers through my Telarus partner channel. Phones and internet are my specialty. Cybersecurity, cloud backup, SDWAN, networking, AI tools, EV charging, and more are available with Telarus engineering once the door opens
  • Phoenix-rooted. U.S.-wide reach. I serve any pro services office through video and a warm referral network
  • Pro services focused. Law firms, insurance, accounting, dental, medical, real estate, and anywhere a front desk holds the line
  • No outside investors. No sales team. No quota. Just one person who'd rather tell you the truth than close a deal

Same person, off the clock

Off the clock I produce ecstatic dance events in Phoenix.

Same instinct in both places. Listen first. Don't push. Trust the body of the room. Show up when nobody's watching.

Dance is also what kept me mobile after three knee reconstructions and a body that arrived with Larsen syndrome. The work I do off the clock isn't separate from the work I do on the clock. The same person who shows up without an agenda on the dance floor is the person who shows up without an agenda on a Clarity Map call.

If you want to see what that looks like in the wild, I'm @fitztheflow on Instagram. Two sides of one human. Same voice.

When's good?

Thirty minutes. We draw your setup live.

You leave with a map and an honest read.

Let's map it out

No cost. No pitch. Yours to keep.
